To make this case and emphasize the relevant value of house sparrows as a particular type of model, we feel that we need to juxtapose it with more traditional model organisms. This approach also justifies important areas of future study for our focal species. Advocating that house sparrows be used as model organisms is not simple as many definitions of model species are available (Bolker, 2009; Bolker, 2014; Bolker, 2017).

However, females and non-breeding males are brown-streaked in color, but they also have white in their wings. Throughout her professional career, she has instructed and presented on several topics in the academic, corporate, and non-profit arenas. Since completing improv training at the CCT Training Center she has performed short-form and long-form improv for weekend shows, corporate events, and comedy festivals. She is an original member of CCT’s all-female ensemble “That’s What She Said”.

In addition to performing with The Second City National Touring Company, and being a founding member of the internationally renowned music improv troupe Baby Wants Candy, Stuart has also performed in New York with the Magnet Theater and the People’s Improv Theater.
